Storyboard Text

  • From the dust of the ground, God created the first man and placed him in a garden.
  • The man got lonely, so God created a woman from his rib.
  • God told the man and woman that they could eat any fruit in the garden except the fruit of this tree.
  • One day, a snake appeared and told the woman the fruit would open her eyes and make her like God.
  • Tempted by the snake, the woman told the man and they tried the fruit. They immediately felt ashamed.
  • They heard God coming in the Garden so they hid behind bushes. God was very mad when they ate the fruit. He sent them out of the garden, and cursed them and their future descendants so childbirth would be more painful to women and that men would spend their lives working to grow their own food.
  • This story relates to my life because I use it as an example of how to act when I am being tempted with something. In my life, I see a lot of people disregarding human dignity and treating people with disrespect and inequality. Instead of being tempted to do the same, I think about this story and how the Man and Woman were cursed for doing the wrong thing. Whenever I see people acting with disrespect, I try to do the right thing, the thing God would want me to do. I try to step in and stop the people from being rude.
