- We have to kill them all
- I'd like 36 barrels of gun powder please.
- Thomas Percy, John Wright, Thomas Wintour and Guy Fawkes arrive at Robert Catesby's house in London for a secret meeting.
- They shall receive a terrible blow this Parliament; and yet they shall not see who hurts them.
- The men are discussing how Catholics are being persecuted by the Protestant King James I and that they need to take action against the king.
- If you see anything suspicious tell me. ok?
- They agreed on a plan to blow up the houses of parliament with gun powder on the 5th November, when all the protestant leaders joined together for the opening of parliament.
- Oi you. What are you doing down here?
- On 26 October 1605, ten days before Parliament was due to meet, Lord Monteagle got an anonymous letter warning him not to go. He took this letter to the king.
- On the 4th November just 1 day before the opening of parliamentKing James sent some men to keep watch
- Later that evening,, Fawkes was discovered guarding 36 barrels of gunpowder—enough to reduce the House of Lords to rubble—and arrested.
