- Freedmen's Bureau is now in effect, March 3rd, 1865.
- Freed African-American slaves learn that with Freedmen's Bureau there is a chance for them to have an education, a job, food and shelter.
- Freedmen's Bureau was only for freed slaves. Not for slaves currently working.
- As soon as the Freedmen heard about this opportunity, they got shelter and food for themselves.
- The 14th and 15th Amendments gave former slaves greater government access.
- Here is your government access!
- Now that everything is civilized, we will have a greater life in the United States!
