- TOM! STOP THE CAR!
- Myrtle, please come back!
- Gatsby and Daisy are driving back home together after Tom wins the argument against Gatsby. They swap cars again and Gatsby is driving his car through the Valley of Ashes.
- Myrtle spots what she thought was Tom's car and run out of the house and away from George to try and catch him.
- George?!
- Daisy doesn't slow down at Myrtle steps into the road. She hits Myrtle and continues driving home with Gatsby.
- George is petrified and calls the police to report that someone committed a hit and run on his wife.
- Tom pulls over to the gas station after seeing the commotion with people and cops. He tries to get a closer look to see the body.
- He finds out the body was Myrtle and now his girlfriend was dead. He is mortified and tries to hold in his tears as the cops try to uncover who the car belonged to.
