  • Two friends Sheldon and Max were fishing in a pond nearby.
  • now I understood how fishes respire !!
  • in water, fishes breathe through special respiratory organs called gills. when water passes through gills , they absorb dissolved oxygen in water and send them for respiration through blood. carbon dioxide from all cells in the fish is ejected into the surrounding water
  • Suddenly Sheldon caught a fish in his robe.
  • a frog is an amphibian, therefore it can breathe on both land and water. In water it breathes through its skin, whereas on land it breathes through lungs.
