- The colonists showed their hated for the soldiers by making fun of there red coats and calling them lobster backs and some time before nine o'clock and crowds gathered but 5 people died in the Boston Massacre .
- The Proclamation of 1763
- On December 16, 1773, a group of men dressed up as Native Americans and climbed aboard the tea ship and pored in the ocean and that caused the British East India company ,was losing a great deal of money .
- The Quartering Act
- Parliament decided to punish the colonists by passing several new laws colonists could not tolerate them.Trade ships were forbidden to enter or leave the harbor until the lost tea was found .
- The Stamp Act
- After the French and Indian war,British moved west into the land the British had won from the french .In 1763, nearly 2,000 settlers died because of the fighting . The new law was meet all Native Americans or Spanish settlers could have all the land to the west of the Appalachian mountains and the settlers in Florida might attack the colonies.
- The British were afraid that Native Americans or Spanish settlers in Florida might attack the colonist.In 1765,A new law was made called Quartering Act and the colonists to provide quarters .The colonists were angry and mad about the Quartering Act.
- After fighting the French and Indian war,Britain needed money to pay its debts Britain leaders thought that the colonists should help pay for the troops who were protecting them but the colonists were even anger because they had no say in making the law
