- Africa to the Americas
- the slave trade
- The goods that needed to be brought to Africa included iron products, cloth, trinkets and beads, copper, guns and ammunition. Ships from England would sail up and down the African coast looking for ports.
- slaves arrive in America
- when the ships from Britannia would arrive they would exchange their goods for African slaves. the the ships would head for the Americas in something called the slave trade.
- slaves go to plantations
- the slave trade was the passage across the Atlantic ocean . about 25% of slaves died from the rough conditions on board including rats no food and no place for waste and little area for rest.
- back to Europe
- the slaves would arrive in the new world where they would be sold off in auctions to the highest bidder
- once slaves were bought they would be transported to the masters plantation were they would spend the rest of their life working for free.
- once all the slaves were off the ships would head back to the old world to start the cycle over again
