- Matilda was a little girl who loves to read.Her parents treated her very badly. She was a talented child but her parents never realized that.At a very young age Matilda could write down spellings properly and read books and understands properly.

- This is Matilda's family who are the Wormwoods. They treated Matilda so bad that they put her in the Attic. they did not encourage her to read books they told her to watch more TV. They did not care about her all the cared about was money.
- FALLING ACTION: Good Things

- At her new school Matilda was face to face with a evil headmistress.She was very hard on the students so Matilda began to use her newly found telekenises power to get back at Miss Trunchbull for her mean acts.
- RESOLUTION: New Family
- Matilda uses her telekenises power to finally get rid of Miss trunchbull. Matilda uses her telekenises power to imitate that Magnus [miss honey's father] is threatening trunchbull. Trunchbull gets scared by seeing her real name written by an invisible hand and she faints.
- Miss trunchbull leaves the school and miss honey begins to teach with commpassion and kindness.Matilda is also happy as she is able to skip some grades and finally feel challenged in school.
- Mr and Misses Wormwood and their son head to Spain without Matilda. Matilda and miss honey become's a family and look after each other
