- Junior doesn't have self-confidence because he considers himself abnormal, was so ashamed of being poor, and is born with water in his brain. Also, He Always depends on his friend Rowdy.
- Junior new school and girlfriend.
- Junior loves his dog so much, and he loves him more than everything. Junior trusts his dog more than any human, but some lousy day comes. It was a terrible day for Junior because his dog got sick, and Junior's family was a low-income family that couldn't help his dog, so he died.
- Junior Grandmother death
- Junior and Mr.p, the teacher who threw the book at him, came to talk with Junior, and he didn't want him to give up like Mary, his old student who enjoyed writing romance novels but didn't.
- The basketball game
- Junior left the reservation school and went to Reardan, an all-white kid's school. He was so nervous at first, but as time went by, it got more promising. Junior got in love with the popular girl in school, and her name was Penelope. She was stunning but didn't like junior at first. They learned more about each other.
- Arnold had an excellent relationship with his Grandmother. She was so bright and always gave him the best advice. One day his Grandmother was crushed by a moving car, and the driver was drunk, but she was such a wonderful person that she forgave the person who killed her, but all of this was like a nightmare for Arnold.
- Junior played a game of basketball against his old best friend rowdy and the other reservation kids. This game was going to change the whole season. Junior wanted to take revenge because junior and the white school team won the last time they lost. Junior was crying not because he was happy but because he felt so bad because he knew how much this game mattered to his old friend.
