- Mary has seen a news report on a robbery shooting suspect(s)...
- Her heart broke when shes aw Tony's and Wes's faces staring back at her.
- Wes and his brother have been caught by authorities as fugitives...
- As Wes hit the final stair, he looked up and saw his brother lying face down on the floor, a police officer's knee in his back.
- Wes's Trial in Court after a year in custody...
- “You committed an act ... and you didn't even realize how outrageous it was"
- “On the charge of first-degree felony murder, the jury finds the defendant ... guilty.”
- Analysis: Mary (the other Wes's mother) is mortified as she has watched a news report on the shooting of a police officer/guard watching over a jewelry store that has been robbed. The suspects caught were Wes and Tony who had just taken their lives onto a different path by now pulling a trigger.
- Analysis: At this point, both Tony and Wes were seen as wanted criminals by authorities and were now caught in an apartment where dozens of police officers had surrounded the Moore brothers in Philadelphia in the night.
- Analysis: During Wes's Trial, his lawyer pleaded to the judge how Wes was acted innocent during all interrogation by police, and claimed that false evidence was acquitted against Wes being present at the crime. It seems none were sympathetic to Wes and find him guilty all all charges and sentences Wes to life in prison (Wes and all his relatives lives have changed forever).
