Storyboard Text

  • Once upon a time there was a pretty girl named Little Red Riding Hood. Her grandmother had fallen ill, so she wanted to take her some chicken noodle soup to help her feel better..
  • My grandmother is not feeling well today, so I want to visit her!
  • As she was making her way to her grandmother's house, she suddenly realized she had walked down the wrong pathway and was now lost in the middle of the woods. She began to weep.
  • "Uh oh," she spoke to herself, "I don't know where I am. and it will be dark soon. I'll never find my grandmother's house. I'm really scared now."
  • Not far away, a friendly gray wolf heard her talking to herself and struggling to choke back her tears. He knew he had to come to her rescue and get her back on the right path.
  • Hmm... the wolf thought to himself, I know where her grandmother's house is in the woods. I'll take her there, so she can be safe with her grandmother.
  • The nice wolf approached the frightened Little Red Riding Hood and offered to help her find her grandmother's house.
  • "Thank you!" she exclaimed. "I was so worried I would be stranded out here in the woods at night and never make it to my grandmother's house."
  • "Hello!", he began. "I heard you crying and saying you were lost. I will be happy to take you to your grandmother's house. It will be dark soon, and you shouldn't be alone traveling in the woods."
  • With Little Red Riding Hood safely by his side, the pair began the journey through the woods to her grandmother's house. However, Little Red Riding Hood did have one question for the kind wolf.
  • "I must ask", she spoke up. "How do you know where my grandmother lives?"
  • "Well, I have lived in the woods for many, many years, so I know it like the back of my own paw. Besides, your grandmother's house is the only house in the woods and it is right off the main pathway."
  • Before they knew it, they had arrived at Little Red Riding Hood's grandmother's house. Her grandmother was extremely happy and relieved to see her. She thanked the wolf, and the three of them became very close friends. They all lived happily ever after.
  • "Thank you so much, Mr. Wolf, for bringing my granddaughter safely to me. You are always welcome at my house."
  • "I am happy I could help. You will never have to worry about Little Red Riding Hood again when she is in the woods. I will always keep her safe," he promised her grandmother.
