- Colonists should not have to pay the high taxes on British goods. It is unfair that the king chooses governors for the colonies.Colonists should have the power to change unfair laws. If they refuse to give us power, then we need to separate.
- Adams was born into a wealthy family, but he didn't manage his money wisely. His friends had to buy him a new suit, a wig, and other clothing when he became a politician.
