  • During the jazz age in the 1920s a lot of rich people loved to party. Most of the parties contained alcohol; lots and lots of it. That's when Prohibition came to play. Which made only people who were in the upper class be able to get the most alcohol.

  • Music was one of the biggest things that has happened in the jazz age. It was a moment where a lot of different types of cultures came out. There were new styles in music and dancing. Around this time dancing became more popular as well
  • Dress and Fashion
  • Gangsters played a major role in organized crime. They had a lot to do with transporting alcohol when prohibition came into play. They also held speakeasies which were illegal bars. So they could consume alcohol.
  • Prohibition made anything with alcohol in the United States illegal. It was considered a moral triumph. Even though many people thought that this was a good idea it ended up causing more crime then ever.
  • In the 1920s fashion became a very popular thing. Woman started to wear more and more revealing clothes. Like shorter dresses etc. The flappers which is a group of woman who started the more risky clothing back in that time. They had different hairstyles brighter colors and more.
