  • Binary is a number and value representation method used in computer science and mathematics. Binary is a base-2 system, which means it employs just two digits or bits. 1 is true or "on" for computers, whereas 0 is false or "off."
  • thank you, okay how do you explain binary.
  • Starting with the right-most digit and working your way left is the best approach to interpret a binary number. The value of that digit, assuming it isn't a zero, is two to the power of zero, or one, because the power of that initial position is zero. The value for this position would be 0 in this situation since the digit is a zero. I'm starting to understand it now, just one more question. how do you read binary.
