- On an island a fair-haired boy is lowering himself from some rocks down to a lagoon, we are not given his name and dont know how he got to an island.
- Lord of the flies
- What's this?
- The fair-haired boy finds a boy who is chubby, intellegent, and wears thick glasses. The fair-haired one introduces himself as ralph while the chubby one introduces himself as piggy.
- Lord of the flies
- Blow the conch so we can have a meeting.
- The boys talk about how the plane crashed and there aren't any adults.

- While he blows the conch other boys are summoned to where the conch is blown, a group of boys appear from the bushes with black cloaks with one being older than the rest.
- Piggy tells Ralph that he can blow the conch and he can probably call the other kids, he decides to blow the conch.
- While he blows the conch other boys are summoned to where the conch is blown, a group of boys appear from the bushes with black cloaks with one being older than the rest. Then Ralph betrays piggy by telling them his nickname and they mock himself because of his appearance and name.
