In 2018, Melania Hidalgo shared her story of abuse at the hands of her highschool teacher. He was someone she looked up to and considered a mentor, until he got too close.

There are millions of stories like Melania’s. 56% of girls and 40% of boys grades 7-12 experienced a form of sexual harassment. Unfortunately, very few speak up.

1 in 4 girls and 1 in 6 boys have been sexually abused before the age of 18.As many as 93% of victims under the age of 18 know the abuser.And it’s happening right here, in our schools.
