- RISING ACTION
- We're introduced to a naive ten year old Jewish boy living in an orphanage named Felix, and during the time of WW2 (1 September 1939 – 2 September 1945) Which find's a carrot in his soup, thinking it's a sign from his parents.
- CLIMAX
- He wakes up excited to see car outside, but to his disappointment, it isn't his parents, rather "Book Burners" which Felix realises, they might come for his parents bookstore so he has to leave the orphanage and warn them.
- FALLING ACTION
- Felix leaves to warn his parents, but find his parents aren't home, he doesn't recognize anyone, until one man he recongonises tells him the Jewish people were taken to the city, so he goes to the city, whilst there, he finds a little girl named Zelda on the side of the road.
- RESOLUTION
- On their way to the city, they are brought into a group of Jews walking to the city, and tries to sneak off but is almost shot, then a man named barney comes and stops them, taking them into his shelter, when Zelda suddenly gets sick, Felix is sent out to get her medicine
- He returns to find their shelter has been discovered by Nazi's, which also take him and he's marched to the train station with them all.
- Felix, Zelda and Chaya decides to jump out of the train, Chaya gets shot at and died whilst Zelda and Felix escape.
