- Lincoln arrives at Fox Theatre
- John Wilkes Booth shoots President
- John Wilks Booth escapes
- One April 14, 1865, Abraham Lincoln and his wife are invited as guests of honor to Fox Theatre to view a play called "Our American Cousin". They were accompanied by two other guests and seated in a private balcony
- Peterson's Boarding House
- Booth walks up the stairs but no one stops him. He then walks up to the president and shoots him in the back of the head from 6-8 inches away with a 8 ounce gun. The bullet hits him like a sledge hammer.
- Manhunt/Investigation
- Booth struggles and stabs someone who is trying to stop him and jumps off the balcony. People rush to help the president who is barely alive and losing a lot of blood.
- John Wilkes Booth captured/killed
- Lincoln is taken to Peterson's Boarding house and lays in the same bed that Booth did at some time. He lays with blood all over the pillows. He later dies the next day on April 15, 1865. 
- Serwert leads the investigation and finds Booth's accomplices. They then get the maximum punishment and they are hanged.
- Booth breaks his leg on the way and hides in a barn. The Union soldiers try to smoke him out and Booth looks through the window three times and is shot in the neck on the third time.
