- the world has just begun and the animals were working for humans. There used to be one lazy animal (camel) who did nothing , and said nothing except humph!ONE DAY...
- HUMPH!
- camel , O camel come out and trot like the rest of us
- then , a dog came near the camel and said ...
- Camel , O camel, come fetch and carry like the rest of us
- HUMPH!
- presently the ox came to him , with a yoke on his neck said....
- HUMPH!
- Camel , O camel, come and plough like the rest of us
- 2)well, there's a thing in the middle of your desert with long neck and king legs he hasn't done a stroke of work snice Monday morning . he wont trot
- The 3 of them were fed-up with the camel they complained about him to the man but the man was helpless .. So they held a panchayat at the end of the desert . Presently there came along the Djinn who was in charge of the deserts, rolling in a cloud of dust... THEY SAID..
- 4) he says HUMPH! and he wont plough
- 1)djinn of all deserts! , is it right for anyone to be idle ?
- 3) WHEW! thats my camel . What does he say about it ?
- 2) certainly not .
- 5) Very good . I'll humph him, if you kindly wait a min
- The Djinn remonstrated with the camel , who said Humph. The camel's beautiful back which he was proud of , suddenly grew a lump, which was the camel's hump. The djinn assured the camel his hump would always be a help, not a hindrance
- 3) That has a purpose all because you missed those 3 days. You will be able to work now for 3 days without eating, 'cause you can live on your hump; dont u say i never did anthing for you. Come out of the desert and go to the 3 and behave
- 2) How can i ? ...with this humph on my back :(?
- 1)Do you see that? its your very own hump(j) that you've brought upon yourself by not working. Today is Thursday you've done no work since Monday, when the work began. Now your going to work
- And the Camel went away to join the 3. And from that day to this the camel always wears its hump(h) but he has never caught up with the 3 days that he missed at the beginning of the world and has never yet learned how to behave
