The impact of democratic principles of equality

- Dude, the king says not only do we control the government and what taxes are given to the colonists, we also control where they can move and live! :)
- To bad. -This isn't a democracy, lady. We get to control your government, taxes, and everything that happens to you!
- That isn't fair! We as the people should have a say in what happens to us, and our government!
- We as colonists just fought for this land, I should have the right to move where I want!
- Too expensive. You cannot move over here according to the kings order s by the Proclamation of 1763.
- We're here to collect the taxes that you never had a choice in.
- No man, nor king, should be able to take away these rights. The government should be controlled by the people, chosen by the people, and the people should have a say in government. England does not have the right to make harmful laws to the people.
- We should have the freedom to move. England was restricting opportunities, and it was unfair for the colonists. Colonists should have the freedom, and choice, to impact the pursuit of happiness. We should have a right to say what happens to us.
- OKAY COLONISTS< AFTER THE F_I WAR ENGLAND IS POOR. BECAUSE OF THIS, WE"RE GOING TO TAX YOU WITHOUT A CHOICE WITH PUTTING SPECIAL BRITISH STAMPS ON ALL OF YOUR PRODUCTS YOU SHIP OR TRADE. - You're welcome.
