  • Enter (left to right) Cassio, Emilia, and Desdemona.
  • Madam,  I'll take my leave.
  • My lord shall never restI'll watch him tame and talk him out of patience... I'll intermingle everything he does With Cassio's suit.
  • Cassio exits.
  • Enter Othello and Iago.
  • Was that not Cassio parted from my wife?
  • Cassio, my lord? No sure, I cannot think itThat he would steal away so guiltylikeSeeing your coming.
  • Not now, sweet Desdemon. Some other time.
  • I prithee name the time, but let it notExceed three days. In faith, he’s penitent
  • I prithee call him [Cassio] back.
  • Desdemona and Emilia exit.
  • What dost thou think?
  • Thou echo’st meAs if there were some monster in thy thoughtToo hideous to be shown. Thou dost mean something.

  • Many things occur between the panel prior and the next. I am hither to provide thou those missèd details.Following the conversation with Iago, Othello is insecure and believes that Iago is truthful when he said that Desdemona would leave Othello for someone else. Soon after, Desdemona drops her handkerchief and Iago, a cruel villain, plants it in Cassio's bedroom.
