- My Journey Through the Nile River

- Here is my list of the things I packed!
- To prepare for this journey, we had to practice different drills and listen to our team leader, Pasquale Scatturo. I packed all my necessities, it was a lot so I needed two backpacks!
- * clothes and shoes* all hygiene products/toiletries* food and water filter* pillow and blanket* first aid kit
- * flashlight* lighter * batteries * sunscreen and towels* life jacket* rope* map *sewing kit
- I was excited but also I was feeling a ton nervousness going on this expedition!
- When me and the team were first in Ethiopia, we visited the Laibela Stone Church which has the original ten commandments. Through the Nile River, there was tons of volcanic rock but at the end we saw and went through Tissisat Falls.

- During the second half of Ethiopia, we were told about the dangers that could happen if we had an encounter with a Nile Crocodile. We camped by the river to sleep, the next day we heard that the Shifta, a local bandit group shot at our friend Gordon but he didn't get hurt.
