- The most critical thing that a teacher must do is to get to know the students. This will allow the teacher to get students more engaged with the lesson as the teacher can make the lesson custom-tailored to their culture and or play to their strengths.

- One of the things that I learned is that, no matter the crises nor what is going on in their personal life, a teacher has to remain composed for the class. If this composure is broken, then it will have an adverse affect on all the students and make the situation even worse.

- 1. Sub for all grade levels to see what I like.2. Don't Procrastinate On Your Assignments. Set early deadline to avoid this.3. Keep in contact with advisors.4. Make sure I have a good work vs life balance.5. Use some of the lessons from the Making Thinking Visible book. There are great ways to improve how a lesson is learned, ways to organize information, and develop critical thinking.

- Don't be afraid to talk to your peers or the teacher if you are struggling. They all want you to succeed and are happy to help. This is also true as a teacher. If you need help, go talk to your team and figure out what can be done, or how a lesson plan can be improved.
- Education is constantly adapting and changing due to many factors. Whether or not you are going into or actively are a teacher, knowing the challenges and changes within the field is important so that you can plan accordingly.

- Evaluations are very important for teachers as a to reflect on how they perform and continuing their career. However, evaluations have been shown to not properly reflect the teacher's ability within the class. The best you can do is do your best every day. What will happen, will happen.
