- Well, fast fashion is when big companies, like Zara, take advantage of poor people in developing countries by making them work long hours with little pay and in horrible working conditions just so that the company can manufacture a lot of clothes quickly and cheaply to keep up with fashion trends.
- Really!? I didn't know That's terrible!
- Not only does the fast fashion industry exploit its workers, it is the second most polluting industry on the planet, right after the oil industry.
- I know! It really is terrible...and that's why we each have to make better choices when it comes on to fashion...for the workers and for our planet.
