  • Meeting of Estates General
  • We want fairer taxes.
  • And freedom of the press!
  • Tennis Court Oath
  • WE WANT THE CONSTITUTION OF THE KINGDOM ESTABLISHED! 
  • DONT SEPERATE!
  • Storming of the Bastille
  • We want to save the prisoners!
  • Cashiers went to the court for reforms such as fairer taxes, and freedom of the press, because they were in a financial crisis. They had to vote by order for the cashiers to get there reforms in to the law. The third estate took 40,000 letters in the meeting.
  • The March on Versailles
  • DEATH TO THE AUSTRIAN!! WE WILL WRING HER NECK!!
  • WE WILL TEAR HER HEART OUT!!
  • A big meeting in a tennis court which the 3rd estate established the National Assembly, and the new revolutionary government, and pledged not to separate, and to reassemble wherever circumstances require, until the constitution of the kingdom is established. They also vowed to stay until the constitution was made which was the Constitution of 1791.
  • The Reign of Terror
  • On July 14th, 1789, the third estate decided to storm a prison called the Bastille. They said they wanted to save the prisoners but it was obvious that their main goal was to make a statement to the king. Revolution began.
  • The Rise of Napoleon
  • Im emperor now!!
  • The March of Versailles was a march where all women marched to Versailles, to tell the king to stop ignoring there suffer, they asked for bread. The king then promised the women and provided the women with food from the king´s stores.
  • Was a period of the French revolution when, following the creation of the First Republic, it was a series of massacres and numerous public executions took place in response to revolutionary fervour. The fall of Robespierre happened right after. They killed them with a guillotine.

  • Before the rise of Napoleon, Frances government had been engaged with military conflicts. But once Napoleon stepped in the government had a military success. Napoleon crowned himself emperor. He made other countries sign reforms.
