- Stamp Act
- Now we will put stamps on every paper item, taxing all of the colonists
- Life in the colonies were very simple, and when people were not working, the adults had time to bowling, tik-tack, and trock while the children liked playing with dolls, marbles, and tops.
- Townshend Act
- I do not want to pay taxes!

- Boston Massacre
- In 1765, a law was passed that all paper objects had to have a stomp on them, and when the colonists complained that this law was passed without their consent, then they repealed the Stamp Act and passed the Stamp Act Congress.
- In 1767, another law that was passed saying that all goods that were imported like glass and tea would be taxed. People stopped buying the goods that were being imported because of the taxes, amd people stopped making money, so the parliament repealed the Townshend Act.
