- SCENE 1: SELF THOUGHTS

- SCENE 2: NO REMORSE

- SCENE 3: BAD DEED, GOOD CAUSE.
- Thank GOD I didn't get caught today!
- Jonah is in his room, thinking of how he would be able to 'come out of the closet' and not have to hide how he really fells but he knows that in the country Nigeria (the country he lives in), EXTERNAL SOCIAL CONTROL is prominent and his actions comes with severe punishment.
- SCENE 4: TROUBLE
- This might be good news
- We are leaving the country, pack your stuff!!
- The president of Nigeria, signed an act saying "same sex activities is illegal". It is considered a TABOO to be involved in same sex activities anywhere in the country, these two men would then go on to face severe FORMAl PUNISHMENT.
- SCENE 5: NEW BEGINNINGS

- Jonahs' dad just got fired from his job, so his mum has to commit STREET CRIMES. she breaks into stores, takes food, clothes and other necessities just so her family can survive, this is showcasing a good example of STRAIN THEORY. she had to turn to a deviant or criminal act just for her family to survive.
- SCENE 6: MOMENT OF TRUTH
- what is it son!
- Alarmed, Jonah and his mum had no idea that his dad was involved in a WHITE COLLAR CRIME, he embezzled a huge ransom of money now the government are after him, because of how corrupt the country is he can pay his way from going to prison.
- Why honey!
- No questions, do as I say!
- Moving to Canada, and seeing two same sex individuals able to express themselves made him realizes that there wasn't anything wrong with him, and he felt accepted. The CULTURE in Canada differs from Nigeria in various ways because It was considered a TABOO back home but here it is acceptable.
- There's no way!!
- Straight to the point, Jonah finally summoned enough courage to tell his parents since he saw earlier today that it is acceptable to be attracted to same sex in Canada but he seems to forget that his parents were raised by certain NORMS AND BELIEFS that they had to abide by their whole lives. understanding enough his parents accepted him for who he wanted to be.
- MUM, DAD. I have something to tell you!
- I am attracted to males.
