- There once lived a water bearer.
- He had two pots with the same form and size but one of them has a crack.
- I am worthless...
- One day, when the water bearer began to do his daily task of filling the pots, the cracked pot shared its sentiments. The water bearer listened to the cracked pot's story with care and compassion.
- He knew about the crack, but did not see it as an imperfection, or as something that made it less worthy than the other pot that hung from his shoulder.
- Did you notice the flowers on your side of the path ?
- Now, the cracked pot understood. And the cracked pot began to see itself in a new light.
