- Digital images are encoded using the binary!
- How are images encoded?
- Binary is a numbering scheme where there are only two possible values for each digit, 0 and 1 (yes, no, true, false). Binary also refers to any digital encoding/decoding system

- To store a digital image, the image is broken down into thousands of tiny elements called pixels.
- Binary helps to store, transmit and create different digital images, using pixels
- How are images encoded?
- Images are stored in scan lines. Each line is encoded from left to right, top to bottom.
