  • George Washington's Quarters
  • Soldiers Quarters
  •  The Winter Valley Forge, Was a living space for George Washington and his Continental Army. There was a very cold winter at Valley Forge. The soldiers of G.W were very cold many died, but Baron Friedrich Wilhelm von Steuben was training the soldiers to be able to stand up to the british.
  • Problems Faced by the Soldiers #1
  • George W. Had a house built out of bricks. George's house was built to keep him warm, healthy, and safe. His house was called the the Isaac Potts House.
  • Problems Faced by the Soldiers #2
  • The soldiers house/cabins there was over 2,000 of them. They were built out of wood not brick like George W. house was.
  • Training with Baron Fredrick von Steuben
  • The biggest problem faced was food, there was very little food to feed adn keep the soldiers healthy. Most of the soldiers died from the cold and the little amount of food they had.
  • the second biggest probelm faced was the clothing/war gear. There was very little clothing to kep the soldiers warm, most of them had no socks, jackets, or armor. This was cause a lot of soldiers to get sick/or freeze.
  • Training with Baron Fredrick von Steuben was great for the men of George W. to get ready for many situwstions. All the men had to train during the winter, some did it just to stay warm.
