  • Leila runs away
  • WHAT?!
  • AMAL, LEILA RAN AWAY AND ITS ALL YOUR FAULT!
  • Amal fights back and tries to convince them that it wasn't her fault
  • Leila's parents leave
  • Where your religion when you talking back to your friend mum?
  • Leila, Amal's best friend from Hidaya (her old school) runs away because of her strict parents and never being able to do anything without their permission. Leila's parents blame Amal and think it is all her fault as she planned a birthday dinner for Leila without letting them know.#160;
  • Amal decides to try and get a job
  • Have you got any experience?
  • Amal gets angry at Leila's parents assuming that it's her fault when all she wanted is her friend to have fun once in a while, so she fights back.
  • Amal gets denied for the job
  • Sorry love, we can't accept people like you
  • Amal feels like a hoover has been shoved down her throat at maximum speed when this is said to her. How could she, of all people, be saying she has no religion? The one who's only goal is to marry off her daughter who is clearly against the thought of it?
  • Amal questions her decision of wearing the hijab full-time
  • I JUST WANT TO GO HOME!
  • Amal sees an advertise of a takeaway shop that needs new employees. She decides that she should go and apply for it, and that she would find a way to balance it with her school life.
  • I'm here about the job... how do I apply?
  • The boss tells Amal that she is not the type of employee they are looking for because of her hijab, and she is in fury on the inside. She found it so silly that just because of a piece of material religious people wear on their head they are stopped from doing certain things.
  • Amal tells her mother what happened, and her mum wants to make a complaint to the centre management but Amal is not interested. Amal#160; begins to cry to her mother, wondering why she is being restricted from so many opportunities just because of her hijab. Her mother tells her she can do whatever she wants and that her and Amal's dad will be supportive.
