- One day, an Enzyme is roaming around trying to explore the park. His name is Rick The Enzyme.Rick the Enzyme is a biological catalyst, and is made of proteins. He went to the park for vacation after long hours of work.
- What a beautiful day in the park :)
- While walking, he met an elementary student named Jordan and they shared a few things with each other
- Hey kid! Beautiful day huh?
- Oh, hello! yeah it is a good day, sorry if I interrupted your walk, My name is Jordan by the way.
- haha, its okay my name is Rick how about we take a walk around and I'll tell you something about myself?
- Uhm, I hope you don't mind me asking but, What type of living thing are you?
- So Mr. Rick, what are you?
- Jordan agreed to walk around with rick.While walking Rick shares something about himself.
- My name is Rick and I am an Enzyme. Enzymes like us are biological catalysts, and we are made of proteins. Our job is speeding up the rate of chemical reactions by lowering the activation energy
- That sounds fascinating Mr. Rick. Does this mean your job is related to the human body?
- Exactly Jordan, specifically about what we eat.
- Which means if you eat foods that are healthy, your body will maintain good health. But if you eat unhealthy, your body will sufffer ;)
- I am responsible for enabling our bodies to digest the food we eat. When you eat foods, I can break it down so that your body can absorb the foods content easily
- Well Itsalready dark and I have to go home.I learned a lot today Mr. Rick! Thank you for giving me knowledge and will never forget it
- Since its already dark and Jordan has to go home and say their goodbyes to each other
