The Secret of the Mirror
Storyboard Text
- It was Black Friday and Evie and her mother decided to buy a much-needed mirror for Evie's room.
- They bought a large, rectangular mirror with a black border and placed it in the corner of her room. After a few minutes, she sees purple, blue and red streaks, stretching and dancing across the screen of her mirror. She suspects she has bad vision but something didn't feel right.
- She has an average day at school and walks back home, forgetting what she saw this morning.
- Evie is walking up the stairs and hears a whooshing sound coming from her room. She carefully creeps up the curved stairs with caution.
- She peaks through the door and the sound intensifies. She now sees blue and red balls, almost like planets, floating and crawling across the screen. She runs her fingers across the screen. AAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH
- She falls through the screen, grips the charcoal black border and Evie is stunned. This mirror is a portal to a new universe. There is a marbled blue, purple and red land, filled with rivers, trees and a new species of animal. Her hands sweating she grips the border firmly and pushes herself back into her room.
