- the pond gets a little small but still has plenty of water to drink.
- the pioneers start to invade
- a drought caused the old pond to turn into a muddy puddle that nothing can drink anymore.
- bigger animals come
- now that the drought dried the pond completely it left space for plants to grow where the pond used to be.
- pioneer species start to invade where the pond was. The pioneer species make good hiding spots for small animals like hedgehogs, weasils, and rabbits.
- now a forest, formed where the pond used to be. more animals are moving into the new forest for their new homes
