- IN THE ORIGINAL PLAY JULIET DRINKS A POTION THAT MAKES HER APPEAR DEAD. NOW SHE USES SLEEPING PILLS.

- In romeo and Juliet Tybalt stabbed Mercutio in a duel, and then Romeo stabs him back. Here they used guns instead.
- In the play Romeo and Juliet met at a ball in the Capulet house.Now they are meeting at a party at the Capulet house.
- In the original play Romeo and Juliet are on a balcony and they make plans to marry each other. Now Romeo is proposing to Juliet on her porch.
