- Esther and her friend
- who are esthers parents
- Esther Rosalie was an 8 year old girl, living in Haiti. she loved playing in the garden, and had a very sweet personality. socially her and her family were very known, and Esther had lots of friends at school. her family was very wealthy, and they happened to own slaves.
- Esthers thoughts and beliefs
- Esther got very close with the slaves, she treated them like they were family. she helped them with chores, cooking, etc. she hung out with them, especially a little girl named Anna, who also happened to be 8. she saw everyone as equal, and treated everyone kindly.
- her plan
- Esthers parents on the other hand were very against the revolution, and the mixed population having any rights, that allowed them to be free. Esther knew about how her parents felt about them, but didn't care. Esther wasn't like her parents.
- freedom
- Esther didn't know much about the revolution, but she knew she had to make a plan to help everyone enslaved. Esther only saw people for their personality. she had to make this plan.
- Esther knew people around her were very against her beliefs, and the revolution so she had to be very careful making her plan. here plan was to let the slaves free and help them gain freedom. she knew of a place in the woods for them to start off in and go to where they need to be.
- Esther successfully helped them escape, they have plans to join in with toussaint louvertur to help in the Haitian revolution, to gain their rights and freedom.
