- Act 1 Scene 3
- Macbeth and Banquo meet the three witches. They say that Macbeth will be Thane of Giannis, Thane of Cawdor, and finally King; but Banquo's heirs will be Kings in the future.
- Act 1 Scene 4
- I need to kill him or I won't be King
- Macbeth plans on killing Duncan as he declares to make Malcolm his heir to the throne.
- Malcolm will be my heir!!
- Act 1 Scene 7
- I don't think I should kill Duncan anymore.
- Macbeth starts to change his mind about killing Duncan but Lady Macbeth becomes enraged and goes after his manhood and courage by calling him a coward. This makes him change his mind again and will kill Duncan.
- Coward!!!
- Act 2 Scene 1
- What did the witches mean when they said that?
- Act 2 Scene 2
- Macbeth Kills Duncan and the guards. He has remorse but Lady Macbeth does not. She plants the daggers on the guards so it looks like they killed Duncan.
- Act 2 Scene 3
- Macduff discovers Duncan's dead body. Malcolm and Donalbain leave Macbeths' castle fearing their lives are in danger.
- We should get out of here; we could be next!
- Banquo is unable to sleep as he dreams about the three witches and what they said.
