The battle with Grendel's Mother
Storyboard Text
- Beowulf leaps into thelake and swims for hours to face Grendel's mother. While he's wearing full armor and carrying a heavy sword.
- Beowulf finally meets Grendel's mother. They are about to go into a deadly battle.
- Grendel's mother has attacked Beowulf. He attempted to stab her with the sword, but failed miserably.
- Beowulf risks it all and attacks her with his bare hands. He somehow managed to knock her down to the ground. However, Beowulf began to lose as Grendel's mother puts all of her weight on top of him.
- Grendel's mother tries to kill Beowulf. His armor has protected him from the attack He then grabs his sword and chops off Grendel's mothers head.
- Beowulf wins the battle. After he chops off Grendel's mother's head, he goes and finds Grendel's body to chop off his head. He takes both of the heads to the theater to brag about his victory against the Grendels.
