  • Heyyy bestie! Whats poppin!
  • See what I did with the "Replication Origins" *wink wink*
  • Um, hi? I'm not sure I know you, and my name is Helicase by the way. I'm responsible for unizipping/unwinding DNA double helix beginning at the replication origin. Who are you exactly?
  • Oh, your making a replication fork, I knew that! It means I'm at the right spot this time (LOL). My name is DNA Polymerase, do you need any help? I can TOTALLY help :)
  • (Wow thats convenient...)Thanks for stopping by, I could use the help. I'll explain the instructions. I need you to replicate each DNA strand by pairing adenine (A) with Thymine (T), and Guanine (G) with Cytosine (C).
  • AKA Complementary Base Pairing!
  • DNA Polymerase (New nickname: D'n'erase ;) added all nucleotides to the leading strand...except there was a problem. DUN DUN DUHHHH!!!
  • O.M.G!! DNA strands are "antiparallel", So I cant add nucleotides to the lagging strand because I can ONLY synthesize strands in the 5' to 3' direction, but the lagging strand is in the 3' to 5' direction! Ugh, this is so annoying! (I should've done my homework tbh:(
  • What? I'm the girl that did your homework! Anyways, my name is Primase. Im going to add the lagging strand so that you can synthesize it into fragements

  • Primase added primers to sections of strand, while D'n'erase ;) added nucleotides, and together synthesized the lagging strand. THE END
