- That's normal Candice, your body is maturing and you finally have your menstruation.
- What are these hormones anyway?
- Well, the FSH in the ovary stimulates the follicle to mature, while the LH causes ovulation or releasing of eggs. And the sex hormones: progesterone and estrogen is responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the uterus.
