- why must us southerners fight the northerners. we should all be able to cooperate in peace instead of violence
- The United States has a different government and economic system than Russia which is what the Cold War started over. The United States has a Republic government and Capitalist economy. The Capitalist economy also causes there to be economic classes, Rich, Middle, and Poor. Russia has a Communist government and economic system. The communist economic system tries to correct the problems of the Capitalist economic system and in doing so removes the classes and makes everyone equal.
- The Korean war was a war between North and South Korea from 1950-1953. North Korea was supported by Communist Russia and South Korea was supported by the United States which was trying to stop Communism from spreading which Russia was trying to spread. The war ended in a tie which caused Korea to split into North and South Korea.
- The Vietnam war was a war between North and South Vietnam from 1955-1975. The North was supported by the Soviet Union and the South was supported by the United States which was trying to stop the spread of Communism which Russia was trying to spread. Russia ended up winning the war and Vietnam became Communist.
