Storyboard Text

  • Showing the arrest of Jus. The panel is important as it depicts the beginning of the story, and kicks off Jus journey of the story to see and address problems such as racial profiling. Also establishes the theme of appearance vs. reality.
  • This panel displays Justyce's letters to Martin Luther King, which are major part of the story where we see the development of Jus' character and struggles with his mission he called himself to, his school, and personal issues.
  • This panel shows the social evo. class ran by Dr. "Doc" Dray. Significant, as it is the main way the plot grows and how Jus combats his progresses his "mission" the most. Also introduces majority of characters of importance through the story.
  • CONGRATGULATIONS !
  • This house depicts the house that the "Equity Brigade" went to at Halloween. Beginning the first "fall" Jus takes in the goal of addressing equality. Also the first majorly controversial action of the story's progression.
  • Depicting the meeting between Melo, Jus and SJ, the event in the story starts it's secondary plot of romance between Jus and SJ. Also cements SJ as the female figure of the story and Melo as a "temptress" through her actions.
  • This panel, while showing a minor event pot wise of Jus being accepted into Yale, is significant to the story, as it starts the "act 2" of the story of the next panel and starting the secondary plot of the story.
  • Depicting SJ's and Jus's last debate together. It establishes a new block in their friendship. Though not significant for the secondary romance-driven plot of the book, it advances the theme of the book to address profiling and racism.
