We meet our main characters Caitlin and Martin. Caitlin is an average American girl who likes hanging out with her friends. Martin is like an average kid, but without much of a salary. He comes from a poor family in Zimbabwe.

Martin is a very smart kid, but since he is poor, he cannot afford a proper education. Martin’s family is not very rich and can barely afford rent, let alone pay for Martin’s AND his siblings' school.
FALLING ACTION
I did it!
Martin is kicked out of school. He wasn’t able to pay fees for that semester, and he assumed that was the end of his education, right? CAITLIN TO THE RESCUE! After a couple years of being friends, Martin admits to Caitlin that he does not come from a rich family, and Caitlin decides to help him! Joy!
RESOLUTION
The final exams and the tension that they bring. With the help of Caitlin, Martin is able to pay for his exams, and he gets the highest in his school! He applies for SAT exams and doesn’t do so well despite how smart he is. Second try is the charm, while that’s going on over there, Caitlin and her mom are looking for colleges for Martin.

Looking for colleges is challenging. When you're in America and trying to get a scholarship for somebody all the way in Africa. Through months and months of negotiating, they get Martin a scholarship! Martin’s off to the U.S.A to accomplish his dreams!
Martin is in the U.S.A and does his degree. Over the course of the 6 years that he has gotten to know Caitlin and her family, he’s basically become their adopted son from another continent. Over his years in college, Martin excels in his studies and school. In present time Martin is an author, an investor, an adviser, and a strategist. Caitlin is a nurse and has 2 kids. This story shows how you should never take what you have for granted.
