- Linda Jones who is now a trade union organizerfrom SDA which is a union that fights and protects the rights of retail workers, warehouse workers and , supermakert workers at their workplaces is now entering woolworths headquarters to recruit more members to join the union.

- The new manager is white. He has not been allowing me to have lunch breaks and off days. Each time its my off day I get a call that I should report to work or I will be fired. He has been underpaying me I have seen other peoples pay slips they not as same as mine.
- WE PRIDE OURSELVES IN PROTECTING TOUR RIGHTS.
- Linda is standing and explaining what is a trade union organiser and what the SDA is and does. Workers have gathered infront of her to listen what she has to say.

- This is shocking to think that we still have people who partake in exploitation of workers in this day and age is extremely dissapointing. I know you under the SDA i will escalate the matter to the above and we will meet at woolworths head office tomorrow

- While Linda was giving people a chance to raise questions on unions and membership fees a worker approached her to say she wants to be left with her behind she is a SDA member already.

- The worker Grace is explaining how she is treated unfairly at work because of her color skin. She is not getting whats due to her but she is doing her end of the bargain.
- HI Linda my name is Grace and Iam an employee here at woolworths. I have been an employee for over 5 years. The problem is theres a new manager here at one of the stores that I am placed at.....
- Unions are designed to protect the rights of the people at workplaces. They are the voice that helps people to retain whats due to them. It could be problems of wages and salaries or discrimination against colour of skin.
- I have tried to report the unfairness to the relevant people but nothing congusive has been done. He has not been issued with even a warning. Talking to him is like talking to a brick hall he does not listen to anyone but himself.
- Grace and Linda shake hands and agree to meet with the manager tomorrow to solve this problem.
- Thank you for taking your time to listen to me and I will see you tomorrow.
