- Rikki-Tikki-Tavi talks to the Tailorbird named Darzee. Darzee warns about Nag.
- Falling Action
- Rikki-Tikki-Tavi and Nag fight because Nag was going to sneak up on the man and kill him. In the end, Rikki kills Nag.
- Resolution
- Rikki and Nagaina fight after Nagaina was about to bite Teddy. Rikki-Tikki lures her with her last egg. Then, Rikki follows Nagaina into a hole in the ground and they both go underground. 
- Darzee mourns for Rikki-Tikki-Tavi and sings a mournful song.
- Rikki kills Nagaina while in the hole and Darzee and Teddy's family cheer.
