In the kingdom of Ayodya, prince Rama and his brother were exceptional in physical abilities. Their adventure begins once they were called to slay forest demons. After their triumph, the boys were not done, they were anxious for more. They set out to string the bow of Shiva, a task that has never been pulled off by and king or sage. Rama succeeded with ease and in return he married Sita, the daughter of King Janaka.
The End of the war
Kaikeyi became jealous that her son was not as prestigious as Rama and out of spite, she used a boon on the king Dasharatha in order to send Rama to exile. Although the kind was unhappy, Rama abided the wish, Sita and Lakshmana joined him out of loyalty. Rama and his companions settled down by a river joined by a group of sages. Rama would protect his comrades from large waves of demons.
A test of Purity
Rama's might did not go unnoticed, the demon king, Ravana had gotten word that Rama had slain his two brothers. Because of this he swore to get vengeance on Rama, he quickly created a plan. Ravana would lure Rama away from Sita and during this time he would capture her and take her to his kingdom to be his queen. Even after succeeding, Sita would refuse to be Ravana's queen.
Rama reunites with Sita
Upon discovering his enemy, Rama calls to Hanuman for his aid in a war against Ravana. Hanuman set out to rescue Sita by changing forms however upon meeting Sita, she refused to be rescued by anyone other than Rama himself. On the battlefield Ravana challenged Rama to which he felt defeat two different times, the second loss killing the demon.
After the war was over, Lakshmana was healed and Rama was reunited with Sita. Unfortunately Rama stated that he and Sita must part ways as he cannot take back a wife that was in another mans home. To show her loyalty toward Rama, she leapt into a burning funeral pyre. Luckily she was not harmed as the Fire God, Agni appeared to her and guided her to safety.
After proving her purity with the aid of Agni, the fire god, Sita reunites herself with Rama and together brought order and happiness to their kindgom.
