- It's a date
- That sounds like a good time! I love Jimmy Jons. I just need to go home and get ready when we get off.
- Hey Pam, I was wondering if you wanted to grab some food at Jimmy Jons after work?
- Jim's house
- I can't believe I'm going on a date with Pam! I better iron my nicest clothes. I don't want her to think I'm a bum outside of work
- Pam's House
- I'm so nervous, my cars in the garage, I don't have any money to pay for a date, and I fall in love too easily. I don't want Jim to think I don't have it all together.
- Maybe I shouldn't go... But then he'll think I don't like him.. I'll call him and tell him I'll meet him at the restaurant that way I don't disturb him by making him drive here.
- Jim musters the courage to ask out Pam on a date.

- Are you sure you don't want anything else?
- I don't know what to talk about, I don't want him to think I'm annoying
- Jim has been wanting to go out on a date with Pam for quite some time, but Jim doesn't make too much money. He saved up for this date and for the clothes he's going to wear, and is excited to be meeting with Pam.
- A farewell
- I hope you had a good time even though you didn't eat much. I know the food here isn't that great but I can't afford a better restaurant right now...I wish I could offer you a ride home, but I had to sell my car... I probably look so pathetic. I'm sorry if I'm being too emotional right now.
- Pam's last relationship ended due to hey boyfriend claiming she depended too much on him financially and emotionally. She is now hesitant to open up in that way to someone new, but she likes Jim.
- A week later
- Hahah! I haven't enjoyed myself like this in a very long time.
- I'm so glad I opened up.
- Pam is anxious about her financial situation. She's also thinking about what her ex told her about being too emotionally needy, which is making her quiet. Jim begins to feel like he's coming on too strong and begins to talk less.
- She's barely touched her food. I don't think she likes me.
- I can't afford much besides this banana, I'm so ashamed.
- I'm fine, I promise. I'm on a keto diet!
- Jim opens up to Pam which in turn gives Pam the comfort she needs to open up to him. They find out they're both in very similar situations.
- I'd love that.
- Oh my goodness! It's not like that, I had a fantastic time! I was super nervous and ashamed because I also don't have much money and couldn't drive here... I've been told I fall in love too easily, so I didn't want to come off strong. Maybe we should start over next week and just grab some ice cream?
- By opening up to one another about their insecurities, they were able to enjoy each others companies. Pam and Jim went on to have a very happy relationship from there after.
- I'm having so much fun too Pam. I'm glad we were honest to each other.
