- Tired of not having equal rights, Helen Armstrong tells everyone to go on strike

- The strike goes for over a month. Thousands of people are supporting it.

- Mounted squad and special constables are hired to stop the rioting
- A boy named Tommy Douglas watches the people running and screaming for their lives
- Strike
- Many are injured that day. This day is known as Bloody Saturday
- 2 died and others injured. Helen Armstrong and others a thrown in jail. This stopped the rioting, but they continue to fight for rights
- Many years later in 1944 Tommy Douglas runs for Premier for Saskatchewan to fight for the workers
- August 3rd
- Tommy win the election and becomes the first democratic socialist in Canada. He fights for bargaining right for workers and introduces the first universal heath care on the continent.
