- This is the finch family.They reside in the city of maycomb,Alabama,sometimes after the great depression.
- The main topic of the book is racism,although there are lots more-sub topics in the book.The Finch family gets a lot of backlash for Atticus defending a black man,The kids have put up with racism insult from adult and children.
- Atticus was assigned a case that has,in everyone eyes,impossible to win,but without hesitation Atticus took the case of a black man (Tom Robinson).Meanwhile Jem,Scout,and Dill are very intrigued with the life of their kids neighborhood Boo Radley.
- Bob Ewell accused Tom of raping his daughter,Mayella Ewell,So Tom was thrown in jali
- Tom was an innocent man with proof,he was found guilty unanimously by an all white jury.
- Bob Radley had not been seen for years,so jem and scout could believe their eyes when they saw who was it was Boo walked them home to where they were safe and sound.
