- Mom Luby took in Puddin' and Elijah three years ago when there mother died.
- Mom Luby went down to State Aid to get money so that she could continue taking care of the children.
- After they left the State building, they went home to run the Speakeasy behind their house.
- When a State Agent came to question Mom Luby, she held her ground and was determined to get the money and keep the children.
- Even though she was ended up denied of the money, Mom Luby said they could survive on their own, like they always did.
